Engineering the Visual Hub of the Vehicle
As instrument clusters evolve from analog to high-definition digital displays, the engineering challenges grow. We specialize in managing the thermal, mechanical, and optical requirements of modern cluster assemblies.
Upper IP (Top Pad)
The uppermost surface closest to the windshield. Houses defroster vents and passenger-side airbag deployment zone. Engineered to withstand extreme UV exposure and heat with thermal expansion management.
Mid IP (Bolster/Visual Zone)
The central horizontal band for direct driver/passenger interaction. Integration point for Instrument Cluster, Infotainment Screen, and central HVAC vents. Primary aesthetic zone with high-gloss plastics, brushed metals, or wood veneers.
Lower IP
Section below knee level housing Glovebox, steering column shrouds, and knee bolsters. Focuses on knee impact safety and storage utility with durable materials like Polypropylene (PP) resistant to shoe scuffs.
IP Sub-Structure (Cross-Car Beam)
The structural skeleton spanning from left A-pillar to right A-pillar. Supports steering column weight, prevents dashboard vibration, and provides side-impact protection with massive metal or magnesium beam construction.
